Strength/Faith build is what I beat the game with, it rocks. Definitely play around with the blasphemous blade if you haven’t before, the ash of war like broke the game for me haha
I think you’re not alone. Is it cuz it’s so op with its its weapon art? I think it’s deserved because volcano manor is a great late game area and the vilebloodes is a cool quest line
got my radahn great tune activated and killed the godskin apostle in the basement. also made it to volcano manor but probably gonna hold off on going through for a little while i explore nokron first.
Forgot to answer but yeah it's because the weapon art is so busted, so many bosses are weak to fire, and the fact that it has the healing attached on top of all of that I also do Volcano Manor earlier than most and don't consider it late game but I know the way you're supposed to do it is late game so I get that. I do like the lore a lot (speaking of which Vaati did a Rykard video recently and it's very good)
I got black blade kindred down to a tiny amount of health and died. so hard to even get down to halfway especially since I’m only level 80 and my weapon is +7 somber. but I did take down the draconic tree sentinel with no problems at all so I guess I’m capital ready. always torn on if I should do volcano manor or the capital first. how’d yall do it?
If you're going for completion of all the recusant quests you do capital first since one of the targets is past the capital If not then you can do either/or, I usually do Volcano Manor first
I did the quests first time I ran through and then I think I skipped and did it first on NG+. Haven’t decided which way I’m gonna go through. I mean even when I do go the short route by doing the quest I go back through the dungeon anyway. Like every run when I unlocked the great lift I still make my way up the precipice anyway
My PC (non-RL1) character is now officially DLC ready. Decided to switch to dual duelist (say that 5 times fast) greataxes (1 regular 1 rotten) and it's so stupid and fun
I've decided I'm never going to be DLC ready and I'm absolutely ready to have my shit kicked in. That said, I really want to continue my WayForward run, so I'm going to do like I did with Elden Ring and Danganronpa: get it, finish what I'm currently doing, and by the time I'm done someone will have made a walkthrough.
I honestly think I'm gonna get my shit kicked in too. I don't feel prepared at all for what's in store, I like what I have but I just KNOW when I walk into the DLC I'ma be questioning everything
All of us are going to get our asses kicked, but the positive is it will be a universal feeling among all players lol
