Niall was the only boss to give me so much trouble i tried summoning a player character. they proceeded to one shot him DBZ style while i stood by. it was over in like 5 seconds. my more recent play through i used the item
My first playthrough I never thought to do that and beating him SUCKED Since then I've done the branch every time
I've always struggled to beat Niall without a little help from my friend (mimic). The initial 3 on 1 is pretty brutal. I need something to distract at least one of them. O'neil on the other hand I always find a bit more manageable since you can ride Torrent around the arena and you get a pretty big area to work with. Fuck that rot though.
I think I hung out in the trees and ranged it lol but yeah having torrent helps but the rot was so bad
It's the archers that annoy me against O'Neil, they're not bad if you reposition O'Neil (or if you fight him way later but I usually fight him very early) but sometimes he just decides he doesn't wanna follow
It's one of the funniest Stake of Marika locations in general considering there's a grace RIGHT next to the arena
There are some wild Marika locations and some spots where you would think there would be one but there’s not
Started a new Bloodborne character last week because I never played the DLC and don’t think I beat the Moon Presence boss/ending. Beat Vicar Amelia to unlock the DLC area then just sprinted to where the whirligig saw was so that I could use it the whole run, it’s been so much fun
Hopped back on Elden ring today. First time since March of 2023 if I’m counting correct lol. Thought it would be a huge learning curve but it wasn’t that bad. Re-did my stats for strength/faith to better serve the blasphemous blade and beat Malenia after about 10-15 tries. Spent the rest of my time riding around Altus since I noticed I didn’t have a lot of grace sights on my map compared to other areas. Ended up finding Gelmir Hero’s grave and Unsightly Catacombs. I am instantly sucked back in.
Finished the Old Hunter dlc stuff this evening. Maria fight rocked, orphan of Kos fight was brutal though. After those, Gehrman and Moon Presence were so easy
Hidetaka Miyazaki says Shadow of the Erdtree had to be big, because he wanted Elden Ring players 'to experience that sense of discovery and that sense of wonder' all over again After 3 hours with Shadow of the Erdtree, I can already tell it's going to deliver on my favorite thing about FromSoftware's games: Exploration PUT IT IN ME
Extremely minor but somehow after putting hundreds of hours in this game I just noticed that the snails in elden ring have snake heads. Never looked that closely at them and just saw a pic of one hissing.
Right? This came across my twitter yesterday and so it's funny to see snails get mentioned in here too.
