Far late to the previous conversation but Lady Maria has been my favorite boss fight in any From game so far. For me, it was the perfect moment to encapsulate the ebb and flow of Bloodborne’s combat while being able to read the moves and counter. Plus her theme fucking kicks ass. I think of that fight so fondly.
Been watching someone fight bosses in From games without getting hit, and it's some wild stuff. Anyway, Sister Friede was heartbreaking to watch. That mournful cry of anguish and what comes after. So sad.
No hit runs are so wild to watch. In Elden Ring I had to attempt no hit for the last few bosses and it was so hard, I can't imagine doing that for all bosses and even less so for the space between bosses, can't imagine not getting hit by an arrow and immediately raging because that's definitely what I'd do
I loved Lady Maria and I bet if I fought her before I did the Sister Friede fight I'd love her even more, learning Friede made me a lot better at Maria than I'd expect otherwise so experiencing the challenge more would've been so much extra fun added
I’m not sure Lady Maria is actually challenging. The first time I went through the DLC, I felt like I was over leveled. Only took me twice to beat her the first run through and even then I kept contemplating through the second run how many more times I wanted to attempt her. She was just very cool for me. Orphan of Kos fucked me up so many times right after that so I got brought down to earth after feeling invincible fighting her.
Kos took me equally as many tries as Maria surprisingly, first playthrough of BB was 2 tries on Maria 1 try on Kos, second playthrough was 1 try on Maria 2 tries on Kos But I get how Kos is super hard, I was just insanely in the zone because I had heard plenty about how hard it was
I finally beat him on a whim waiting for some friends to raid on Destiny, threw it up for them to watch communicating that I had difficulties with him and just had a really good run with an audience, haha.
I haven't seen it posted so dropping it here just in case. I literally can not fathom how anyone can give a single fuck about any of this but it LOOKS insanely cool.
That was some really dramatic music for a lot of generic technobabble and names that I don't even know if I'm supposed to care about because I know nothing about Armored Core lore.
Getting the itch to play a from game again and need to decide what to play next. Still haven’t played: Dark Souls 2 Demons Souls Sekiro but I’m also tempted to do another Bloodborne play through lol
