I killed the dragon, and then I took a detour over to the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to kill the Magma Wyrm, cause why not? I did not know that would spit me out at the Albus Plateau though, good to know for the future.

I take back what I said, I found there's a cave outside the Academy called the Academy Crystal Cave that I didn't know was there, so I'm gonna do that now. Anything to not actually progress the storyline, right?

 

Okay, I'm ending tonight inside the Raya Lucaria Academy Library. Tomorrow, we slaughter some wizards.

 

I died more times doing that than anything else in the game so far, probably 20 deaths minimum, and all I did once I got to the bottom was go through the illusory walls to Deeproot Depths anyway lol, total waste

 

I have boosted my arcane recently and switched to Rivers Of Blood katana as my main weapon, absolute cheat code. Though the enemies at Elphael are so annoying I do not feel bad about it at all lol. My current stats are:

Vigor = 60
Mind = 20
Endurance = 25
Strength = 20
Dexterity = 60 (I think, have about an extra +8 with talisman/equipment)
Intelligence = 15
Faith = 15
Arcane = 30

I don't really know what to put points into now though - the bosses I have left are Malenia, Gideon the all-knowing, Godfrey then Radon/Elden Beast, will I need more vigor or more dexterity for those at this point?

 

You won’t see any benefit from Vigor until 90 so use them to upgrade weapons, Ashes, etc. You are pretty stacked for the final run.

 

So the weirdest fuckin' thing just happened.

I beat Rennala, right? She was pitifully easy. So I'm starting to clean out the Academy of anything I've missed, and I decide to go to the bottom of the elevator and fight the furnace looking thing that's there with the blades.

Anyway, it keeps pulling me into its tummy, and I died. When my game reloaded, I was in the fuckin' Volcano Manor?! I fortunately found a Site of Grace and was able to warp out of there, but what the fuck, game? That's a savage trick to pull.

 

You were able to warp out?! I wish I knew that. I proceeded to die *literally* dozens of times before I finally beat the dual bosses at the end.

 

Yeah, they either kill you or warp you to a place that is far worse than death.

 

Yup that’s one way to get into volcano manor.

 

Well it warped me to a lava flow with a bunch of bats that were easy to kill. I just followed the path until I reached a Site of Grace. Once you sit at a Site of Grace, the trap ends and you can warp.

 

So I finally had enough of the single-monitor windowed-screen life, and I spent $230 to do this.

 

two monitors is a game changer I can’t live without it now

 

Also my brother had a copy of dark souls 2 for Xbox at his house and my parents (who I’m staying with right now) have an old Xbox one so that’s up next after I beat DS remastered, which I’m getting close to

If you mean a cave, Sites of Grace for caves are usually in the entrances anyway, aren't they?

If you mean the underground underground, I haven't been there yet so I know nothing about that life.

 

I totally cheesed this engine dude because I was sick of being warped to the Volcano Manor, so I ran past him to a tunnel and I lured him toward me so I could throw Fire Pots at him. This worked, because I am smrt and he is dmb.

 

Oh there is a whole new world down there.

 

Finally killed the Ball-Bearing Hunter for this area. Discovered pillars are his natural enemy. Now time to find out what the northwest and southwest are all about.

I think its technically the UK version of the game? But thats what I bought and I beat all 3 and didnt notice anything off.

 

wait until you get to the Ball-Bearing hunter in Caelid lol hes harder than most bosses in the game
