Right now I'm working on strength so I can one day wield that big GOT sword that requires like 40 strength, cause I heard it's great.

 

Next you can work on being able to wield this bad boy.

 

Mimic and Black Knife Tiche are my two go to summons. Banished Knight Oleg is quite good too IMO.

What am I looking at? Are you straight up wielding someone's gravestone?

 

I need to work on increasing my magic points so I can actually cast Banished Knight Oleg.

Tiche is insane, didn't use him on my first playthrough but started to on my second and he's just so good

 

yeah the health debuff that Tiche can do helps a LOT with some of the late game bosses

 

Agree with Tiche. Good alternate option for the Mimic.

 

Thanks everyone - I do not have the FP on this build for Black Knife Tiche just yet but am only 2-3 levels away, perhaps I can grind enough in Elphael to get there. Will 100% be using it on my next build which will be an INT/FAITH cold sorcery build as it does seem an extremely good summon

I'm in Sen's Fortress in DS1 (haven't been playing as much lately though), it is incredibly disorienting and I love it

 

Just beat the Hydra in Ash Lake on DS1. That was a tough fight.

 

those snake warriors drove me fucking bonkers the first time I played

 

A really great and fun summon is the captain of Radahn's army, Redmane Knight Ogha.
Downside is he will not follow you around and does not give a fuck, but that's part of the charm.
Didn't find a lot of cool ones though

I don't have it on Steam yet, I'm pretty much only playing DS1 cuz I'm playing it on Deck being lazy

Gonna play 2 after though, I liked it when I started it but just kept getting distracted by other things

 

since I got into Elden Ring, I have gotten and beaten all 3 DS games as well as Sekiro

Forgot to mention yesterday, but the Chanting Winged Dame is terrifying.

 

Sens fortress was wild, great level

I got seath down third try yesterday. Dukes archives and crystal caves were so hard but the boss fight was quite easy.

 

Damn, Hollowslayer Greatsword is a cheat code early on in this game

Player's Log: I didn't do much tonight, unfortunately. Just progressed some questlines among Gurranq, Varre, Jar-Bairn, Rya, and Hyetta, the latter of whom says she's alright, but certainly doesn't sound alright from the retching I heard as I walked away.

I've transported myself to the Lakeside Crystal Cave, as I need to go through there to meet Latenna, who is my next stop. I'll do that tomorrow.

I unfortunately wasted some time trying to kill the Crucible Knight of Stormveil Evergaol, without much success. I got him at most halfway, so I saw Phase 2.

I only did that by basically guard countering once, then running away until my stamina came back, and repeating the process, but unfortunately he caught up with me one too many times.

I'm just gonna leave the Crucible Knights alone for now.

Also, weird happening. When I was invading other realms for Varre, I noticed that when I'm attacking the other player, the hits I made and when I made them don't match up at all with my actual motions.

Like, I'll hit him, but nothing will happen, and then a moment later he takes damage, but not from the direction I hit him. I don't know what the fuck is going on, this is some Matrix type shit.

Anyway, weekend is coming so hopefully I can make some more significant progress. I'd like to have the majority of this area done and dusted, but we'll see how far I get.

 

that Crucible knight is ABSURDLY hard in that gaol

theres also another gaol boss called Alecto that is probably the toughest of them all which gives you the Black Knife Tiche ashes which are the best IMO

 

Oh goddammit, I thought I already had Black Knife Tiche but I have not beaten that boss yet, I actually ran away scared as I was taking such a beating!
