You pretty much can't go anywhere beyond the LARGE open area as there are numerous bosses that block the path so I am sure a lot of people are just exploring and grinding.
It’s good sometimes as it’s tanky as hell and pulls Aggro reliably. i too prefer the wolves tho if push comes to shove.
Took down Night's Cavalry, I wasn't planning to level Dex extensively, but I got a pretty cool flail so idk
I avoided the warp chest because of a message someone left. There’s another stairway that leads down to another chest in that area, which has a twin blade in it
What’s the difference between an item whose attack is 110+50 vs one that is 130+20? also the skills that lost the FP cost as something time “1 (5 10)” what the hell does that mean? and how can a AAA get away with not actually explaining any of this stuff??? (Not to mention not telling you what skills do before you buy them…)
got it. so because I’m playing a big beefy boi who dumps everything into strength, I guess heavy weapons are good for me because they have lower base damage but better strength scaling?
heavy weapons are usually STR scaling but scaling is unique to each weapon. Look at your attribute scaling on the equipment menu. Most weapons will be D, some C early on, of course ultimately you want S scaling for whatever stat you are building most on.
makes sense. the skill I got turned the attribute to a C and made it heavy, dropped the base damage but increased the scaling number. So probably just all a result of switching from quality to heavy
