I’m missing one boss in leyendell and I don’t even want to go back because that place is hell on earth
im gonna go for the remastered version (as i think its the only one on steam?) regardless but i am curious: can anyone tell me the major differences between dark souls og and dark souls remastered? is it a major, noticeable difference? is it just cosmetic stuff or was any gameplay or quality of life stuff messed with? im mostly just curious if the remastered version isn't the 'true' experience or if its literally exactly the same just a little more polished.
I’ve now cleared every boss in the game except for any end game boss after you burn the tree and darkroot depths and the only reason I refuse to go to the deeproot depths is ants everywhere this is cursed
I miss talking to Alexander the jar one time in mt gelmir and now I can’t finish his quest like since I already moved to crumbling farum azula I’m PISSED
For the lift y’all were referring to the one after the magma wrym that takes you to Plateau? I just activated it and am exploring that area. The dragon swooped down tho I peaced out and went to a nearby cave. Gonna clear it out and head to Caelid.
I think we are talking about the same thing. You fought some weird singing Misbegotten along the way up? Then you are in a field (after the Wyrm) with carriages and some ogres. The dragon you mentioned you can skip. You are getting close to Lyndell. There is a grand lift as well.
How do you get the grand lift working? I somehow found my way up to lyndell without it. I don’t think I beat a magma worm either (except for the one in a catacomb earlier)
How to access the Grand Lift of Dectus in Elden Ring I’m not sure of another way to Lyndell other than the lift or the Magma Wyrm but I’m sure there’s a way.
There’s a whole way around the lift. Way upper west side of lurnia there’s a bunch of ladders and cliffs and elevators and whatnot. Also singing creepy bats.
my mimic tear died early on in the second phase of the elden beast but somehow was able to beat him thank god.
I ended up missing one weapon that I needed for a trophy but I could still 100% everything else in the base game besides the different endings so I might just do that real quick.
It’s easiest to get all the “collectibles” on your first play through because you can fast travel everywhere.
theres one weapon that you can't get if you progress to a certain point after Leyndell becomes ash you can't get Bolt of Gransax
I’m probably just going to take care of the collectibles and that final boss and then take a break to work on some other games and then come back for a magic run or tank build idk yet still deciding.
so I finished DS1 (remastered) the other day and have started DS2 this game suuuuuuuuuucks (as in its super hard lol)
