How is it a hassle to get to Rennala? ESP. After 69 (nice!!!) hours.

 

more like a hassle to fight her. i've been going through that whole Raya Academy place and jesus the magic users are killing me.
i will remind you all i am bad at video games

 

rennala gave me a hard time til I realized she staggers extremely easily and you just have to stay on her (and use the wolf summons) and it’s basically game over, she didn’t even get to the summoning phase on my winning fight

 

This, the wolves and also if you have a good bleed weapon, it works wonders!

Can you at least get her to her second phase? If so, the second it starts unleash your ashes and just be super aggressive while ignoring all the stuff she summons. If you are fast enough she won’t be able to do that.

 

I haven’t played in like two weeks because I’ve been busy with life and I just want to beat the game already im so close

 

oh, i haven't gotten to her yet lol. i'm still getting through the Academy (and i haven't played in a few days)

 

The Academy is tough but absolutely doable. You got this.

 

Tbh the academy as a dungeon is harder than it’s two bosses

 

2.5 bosses to be fair (although you can skip the .5, lol)

 

Oh yeah I totally cheesed him by jumping on the elevator and all of a sudden I got the loot lol

 

anyone that is having trouble in certain areas, take a look at FightinCowboy's walkthroughs on youtube...they were super helpful for me

 

Yeah his play throughs are very insightful and fun to watch

 

Summon help, who gives a shit!

 

Ugh sword saint is a fucking PROBLEM Ive only made it to phase 3 one time out of like 20 attempts lol haven’t even seen phase 4 (I consider the genichiro fight to be phase 1 which I have little trouble with). He just hits like a truck and his moves are so fast and unpredictable and when it seems like he’s just kinda leaving himself open I try and attack and he immediately fucks me up

 

Summoning isn’t always the answer.

-a lot of people play offline
-the bosses do gain more health with addition of 2nd and 3rd summon.
-some of the people putting down summon signs are worse than you!

 

i only throw down a summon to help if ive already beaten the boss myself haha. many people dont follow this seemingly basic rule of courtesy. no offense but im not tryna summon people just as stuck as i am.

 

Yeah, if you haven’t beaten the boss and can’t comfortably do it solo, don’t put down a summon sign!

 

okay, i'm back in the Academy and i'm already getting pissed off at the same area lol

and why in heavens would someone think to put down a summon sign to fight a boss they haven't even beaten themselves?? lmao makes no sense!

thats literally the area i was fighting my way towards lmao
just the legion of spellcasters in the way was pissing me off SO much. i just cleared the area of them and am about to fight the wolf again (killed me last time)
really wouldn't be so bad if there just weren't so many of them grouped together

it was actually fairly easy comparatively lol
i just summoned someone to help out too

NOW i just need to find where to get a Larval Tear so i can respec

 

by the end of the game i had like 7 larval tears and i dont even know where they come from. besides one was the vendor in sofria river
