wow i actually managed to stumble my way to Godrick lol i was busy running the fuck away from the gd legion of soldiers (and troll thing) died of course but i managed to get like an eighth of his health down surprisingly i'm bad with directions even in videogames i need to find a quick way back there (and find the site of grace that's closest)
wow i actually found my way back to Godrick. once i found my (very convoluted) way back to that entrance courtyard area i just snuck my way around all the enemies instead of running like hell and found both the nearby grace sites lol.
Really loved Sekiro. It’ll take you a bit coming from souls games since it almost encourages you to do the opposite. Once it “clicks”, it’s some of the best combat ever. You almost need to lean INTO attacks with parries instead of the normal shield/swing or dodge roll moves
Does anyone remember which boss room has an illusory wall behind it? It was behind a statue maybe, and it lead to a big elevator shaft type area you could start climbing down. I remember finding it and thinking I would come back to it later
It really didn’t take as long as I thought it would but it was the very last thing I did so I was a super high level and I came right off soul cinder so I was primed for another tough fight
Anyway so far sekiro feels amazing but it’s taking some getting used to, chained ogre should not have taken me as long as it did haha
I am obsessed with Sekiro, have done multiple playthroughs at increased difficulty and have 100% the game on PS4 and those ogres STILL catch me out all the time lol. The powerbomb into the overhead throw is
It’s just so weird because you spend half an hour learning how to deflect and kill all the samurai bois and then hey here’s this massive enemy that is nothing like anything else you’ve faced! and his reach on the grab especially when he lunges at you is insane
Mohg. You need to hit the shrine behind where he was when you first entered. You also need to beat Margitt before you can enter it. There is some pretty intense platforming but there are some cool items and you can get a Site of Grace at the bottom and access to one of the endings as well.
Yes that is a common complaint of almost all new players, definitely requires a lot of caution instead of the constant aggression they teach up to that point - took me 15-20 tries but my playstyle was very over-cautious as I had never played a Souls/FromSoft game before, I don't think you will run into too much trouble as you progress if you are coming into this game off of playing ER + DS3 My least favourite boss of the entire game lol, I cannot seem to play aggressive against her at all. I love the other snake-eyes fight but the sabimaru makes that quite trivial
also the last thing I did before I got off last night was find some weird ass thing in a cave called a headless that made me slow as fuck
Leave them for later, they are hard as hell and you cannot damage or parry them without and item called 'divine confetti'. There are a few more things that you can pick up later too that can even the playing field, but they are a huge challenge even at endgame (impo)
