I know @sophos34 has gone on to play DS3 which seems like a logical next step if you are looking for more along those lines.
obviously after elden ring everyone should play kingdom hearts just because it has a confusing story just like elden ring /badjoke
Which do you think would take longer to explore, every game in Kingdom Hearts or the entire gameworld of Elden Ring?
That’s why lol But seriously though that fight was the hardest fight in the game for me, by far. The most attempts it took me to beat anything in the game and it’s not even close.
After a few days of being stuck on Malenia, I decided to cheese her with rivers of blood/ mimic tear and I only regret it a little bit.
using mechanics in the game isn’t cheesing, glitching the boss and exploiting is what I consider cheesing to be
yeah I generally agree with that in single player games since they've been pre-designed. cheesing in pvp though can still be mechanics of the game, like spamming the same move for the whole fight, it's annoying and just seems to defeat the fun of it.
Soul of Cinder down. Amazing fight, not overly difficult but definitely a challenge. Rewarding as fuck to pick up on how to handle each weapon in phase 1. Onto nameless king
I looked up the easiest strategy and used it to beat the boss while basically bypassing the mechanics of the fight. Cheesing might be the wrong word but you got what I meant.
one of the night Calvary had a thing where if you took him to a certain spot he automatically die in caelid and that was fun to do
nameless king down. thats a wrap on dark souls 3 (until i get the DLC) overall a fucking incredible game that i give an easy 9.5 out of 10. my few complaints are quality of life things that were fixed in elden ring, such as lack of bonfires and brutal runs back to boss fights that take away from the actual fun parts of playing the game. however, i think a few things in this game were a tad bit better than elden ring. level design felt a lot more meaningful, but i get with open world you have to make some sacrifices there. obviously there were still some dark souls type moments in ER such as the capital, haligtree, and azula, but the location maps in DS3 felt like they held way more secret passages and shit to find and stuff, but again thats because it didnt contain a giant overworld map the way ER does. also the weapon upgrade system felt more forgiving and i was able to invest in a wider variety of weapons throughout the entire game whereas in elden ring it only happens toward the end as you unlock all the smithing stone bells to turn into the roundtable. again, theres some thing ER did better, but i think ds3 is every bit as good with just a few tiny nit picks holding it back from being as close to perfect as elden ring is. if you havent played ds3 yet but you enjoyed elden ring i would NOT skip out on it, youd be making a huge mistake not to check it out.
alright jumping back into ER because apparently my dumbass forgot to explore and look deeper into Stormveil Castle and apparently you progress the story more from there
Sekiro might have the best combat of all time when you’re really good at it. When you suck shit, it’s brutal.
