Definitely want to do an arcane build for my next run through. I want to use those dragon powers soooo badly.

 

Playing a glass cannon build in Elden Ring is mathematically ineffective because of the way scaling works

 

Malenia you need to be fast and aggressive

 

You should have a lot of vigor before you attempt her but if you get caught in her flower move, you done.

 

I saw a dude make a hardest bosses video and he made some weird choices and then I saw he had like 20-30 vigor despite being level 100 and I was like oh that’s not smart

 

To be fair 30 vigor used to be a lot in DS!

 

My Vigor is 45 - so it's not terribly low. A better player can probably win with ease with my build.

 

My vigor and strength are both at 50, and I'm level 147. Maybe I should pay her a visit before I continue through Farum Azula. I'm ready for pain

 

That's about where mine was at when I beat Malenia, I had MAYBE a little more but not much more

 

55 vigor 55 dex 40 arcane and the rest just throw around tbh

You should at least get your Vigor to the caps to maximize it: 40, 60, 90.

 

I was def around 140 with over 40 vigor probably pushing 50. Tons of dex and int* for moonveil

 

I finished the game with 40 vigor and 99 strength.

That fight broke my heart. Honestly, the whole game is depressing as hell.

@CobraKidJon someone is starting to route out an all bosses run (yes all 165 of them)

 

Journey 2 done. The Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending was awesome!!!

 

Finally fought that one boss that looks like a floating cat statue with a giant sword and I remember it from that one video of the guy saying Elden Ring is too hard and stupid and he’s just like not even dodging or timing the boss’ attacks Lmao. Seriously tho, probably the easiest boss I’ve faced so far.

 

If you go in Catacombs get used to them. There are two versions. The game likes to give you a boss and then have them show up in the game as a normal enemy over and over.

 

If anyone is on Xbox and needs seeds I can give you them. I am maxed out, lol
