Going to start my Journey 2 tomorrow. Going for the bad ending.

I watched that last night and again I hated glitched speed runs they are the most boring ones

 

how do people even come up with this shit? lol. but yeah the sub hour where the guy actually played the game was more interesting to me.

 

NMG are always superior (from an audience perspective at least)

 

I watched a different one he did where he explained that streamers are the catalyst for it. When you have a few thousand people all recording the same game, weird shit is bound to happen. Having a glitch recorded makes it so much easier to isolate an exploit. You know exactly where it happened and generally what took place. With a game like this, it makes a lot of sense, given the glitch seems pretty easy. Shit like Pokemon, where you have to spin around six thousand times, throw a ball, and shoot pikachu in the head in order to walk through walls? No fucking clue.

 

Yeah glitch runs take a lot of skill and they have their place in the overall speedrunning community but I will always be more impressed/entertained by people who can actually play through a game like this fast enough to actually beat the content. Especially when in order to do so you have to be massively under-leveled and not get hit by anything.

 

Homies - what is this malenia fight? I'm getting absolutely destroyed.

 

Try Frost

 

My main weapon is a fully buffed darkmoon greatsword and I'm still getting walloped

 

Basically you first want to run away from her flurry and then dodge into it. Everything else is weak.

and yeah the frost axe still does wonders against her. And obv get your mimic going.

 

She's weak to frost and also susceptible to bleed. I was able to beat her dual wielding a Frost Nagakiba and Rivers of Blood.

 

I've gotten to the second phase a couple of times without taking damage but then she one shots me with her first dive attack.

I haven't felt this frustrated since the genichiro fight in Sekiro

 

that makes sense actually. still crazy that people can spin these into ways to finish the game in 10 minutes.

Yeah my roommate and I watched that speed run and found it incredibly boring. Just watching a guy guarding for 8 minutes

 

i know they can’t do it here but all bosses runs would rule but all remembrance runs are pretty cool right now

 

I just go on YouTube and now the any % record is below 7 minutes and it still can be improved
