I just played DS1 for the first time last year after playing the Demon Souls remake and despite it feeling outdated it's easily one of my favorite games of all time. I was able to snag all the other From games on sale or for free so it's really exciting to have all those lined up. Should be done with Forbidden West soon and then gonna fully dive into this
Demon's Souls is the only one that isn't among my all time favourites. Even with the remake it's just hard to go back to after playing all of the others.
There is a dungeon at the FAR end of the beach after you beat Radahn. Wtf! Going after all the Legendary Ashen Remains.
I want to play the DeS remake but 1) I already have too much stuff in my backlog and 2) I don't want to pay $40-$70 for it.
I noped out of that dungeon near Radahn's fight the other night. Was not expect to get my shit rocked so hard in there
Dark Souls 2 feels like fan fiction. It’s worse than some of the dark souls clones that have come out in recent years. It’s hideous, nonsensical, tedious. I truly hate it I will concede that the PVP was done well
I've hit that point now where it's all i think about and i can't wait to finish work and play this. Is it possible/good to "clear" Limgrave and the Weeping Pensinsula before moving on? Caelid just looks a no-go right now.
It all depends upon your comfort level and how much you want to explore the game. I would also make sure you are pretty well leveled up before you wander into Caelid.
I know the complaints youre gonna throw at me, the hordes of enemies, the losing health when you die, and the very disconnected area to area transition, but those are all nitpicks that arent nearly as impactful as people who complain about it online make it seem. Its just a narrative that caught fire and became the thing to do. DS 2 is in no way that much different from 1 and 3
I strongly disagree. And some of those complaints are pretty legit and showcase why it’s actually pretty different than the other Miyazaki directed games. But agree to disagree I guess.
Just got all the Legendary Ashes! Getting the Black Knight Tiche was cool. Glad I picked the right ending!
Everytime someone posts a link I just wait for from software to nerf mimic tear because it’s still broken
idk I guess it just depends on your build and stuff but essentially having a copy that can tank bosses so you can go to town feels overpowered.
