Don’t even attempt to get the shield I am using if you are terrible at platforming. Also, getting Radahn’s great rune…talk about a test in patience.
Honestly didn’t find much of the platforming to be too bad besides in that one mine with the ranged fuckers knocking you back
Just sprint from that checkpoint to the red Fox, just sprinting past everything usually works for me once I find the boss entrance lol
Malenia down! And all of the remaining "trophy bosses". Dragonlord Placidusax was cool as hell. Might have had a few more places to explore but decided to start my NG+. Going for the questlines I missed on my first playthrough and the remaining trophies, like legendary armaments etc, this time.
beat rennala. maybe third try. moonveil was too slow for me, switched to hook claws and got her first try with those
i switched from my samurai build to a bit more of a lancer type and i prefer it. took edgar’s lance and buffed it to +13
Going back and killing off some of the optional bosses for completion. The first one was Leonine Misbegotten. 3 Hits and done. Haha! But it fun discovering so many areas I missed.
I’m so fucking done with with this Draconic Sentinel before the Capital, the lightning strike is so cheap
That one is so tough. There is one right before Maliketh that is optional at least but it does pay to take him out.
Like this is where I start to understand the mechanics of people being frustrated with the game. There’s nothing to “learn” here except leveling up your character. I get that you need to be at a certain point with your character before progressing, which is what the devs are clearly saying here, but it’s such a sharp increase that doesn’t scale appropriately. Like the other “minions” in the area I can kill in 2 shots but I can barely scratch this guy?
What is your Ash of War? If you have a Mimic than it will really help. But I agree, enemies like that are caution signs warning you there is going to be a spike in difficulty and Lyndell was one of the hardest areas in the game for me so it makes sense.
I haven’t used any ashes of war yet. As someone said before I’m waiting to see if the scaling for one I have can outweigh the damage negation. I’m currently level 68 with a strength/vigor build with a sprinkling into Dex
