rivers of blood + mimic tear makes her a cakewalk. Killed her in like 30 seconds

 

I just killed the sleeping dragon in caelid for a nice 100k runes and I got that radagon soreseal to really boost my stats nicely

I’ve been using that checklist site I posted a while back and it says im officially done with every boss in limgrave and weeping pennisula besides the grafted scion.

i was planning on doing them with the liurnia bosses so it’s been a pretty solid few days.

 

Haligtree is so cool, maybe my favorite legacy dungeon. Also somehow beat Loretta first try

 

I just beat Loretta also that was a fun fight but once again jump attacks undefeated

 

i had a hard time with loretta both times but def much easier second go.

 

I did like 1/4 portion of ranni quest before I even met her which is wild

 

felt like a complete dummy for using the moonveil against the glimstone dragon since it was doing no damage and then I switched over to the uchigatana and I took it down in two tries.

 

Anything stone it’s completely useless against

 

the dungeon and putrid tree spirit boss in it was harder than radahn on this go through geez i cut stream because i was getting embarrassed just from trying to figure out the dungeon lol.

 

I just cheesed the grey flying dragon near the bestial sanctuary in caelid with radahn arrows and my normal cross bow and I’m not proud of it but I’ll take that 100k runes easily

 

I just finally accepted that I’m not good at this game and I think I’m going to put it away for a few months

building a tank was a bad decision for this game lol

 

Yeah I’m a big sword guy and the game punishes you for that choice

 

Katana seppuku bleed stuff can’t reign supreme forever, can it ?

 

I’m still having a tough time understanding ashes and scaling works with weapons.

To me, it looks like I will weaken my weapon damage with this move, but I see the scaling improves. Am I reading this right? And is it worth the short term damage reduction because the scaling will more than make up for it over time?

 

I honestly haven't figured it out either - haven't been using the ashes of war yet
