one of my most anticipated this year, didn't love absent sounds but able bodies has become an all timer for me, think they could make another huge step forward on this one

Did they release a new song recently? I remember taking a small listen and not really feeling it. Really loved most of the last record, though.

they put out a b-side at the end of last year and an acoustic EP a couple months ago

I really feel like they could continue to grow into something really special. Real intricate.

Someone tipped me off to their EP (I think @Essie tweeted about it? Maybe I'm wrong) and I fucking love it

From Indian Lakes is one of the best acts out there. It's always good seeing Joey around. Next record is going to be great, no doubt. Count me in for a pre-order with some sort of expensive coffee mug.

Love this band. "Absent Sounds" grew on me although "Able Bodies" still gets the edge for me. Not sure I know of a band as unbelievably consistent as these guys and Joey has one of the best voices out there. New album is probably my most anticipated outside of Thrice.

Musically I'll say Able Bodies is better, but lyrically Absent Sounds takes the cake. That album just produces so much feels. Either way I love all their material, the acoustic EP had some jems like Wander and Bad Parts

Saw them play an acoustic show last night and Joey said the new record has been finished for a little bit now. Joey said he's waiting to hear back for when the label wants to put the record out.

is the remix album any good? I really love the remixes from Able Bodies, but I like that album a lot more too.

Goddamn, these guys just something else. Them and Pinegrove are just about tied as far as relatively new bands with so much promise go. I love "The Bad Parts" so much, real powerful minimalism and a hell of a chorus. Can't wait to see what's next and see them live again. They're definitely touring a bunch soonZ

hope they tour with foxing, that makes so much sense even though they aren't really tied to the same scene. two bands that dropped the aggressive parts for follow up records from their breakouts and made something more minimal
back when movmou seemed to maybe be again those three together would be the dream triple crown tour
