I loved Hellogoodbye back in like 2005 and still put on Call n Return and Shimmy, 11 years later, when I am drunk
Sooo Listened to most of this album yesterday and all I could think was "Bombay Bicycle Club".... Am I alone? I like the sound he creates on this album but it stays in one place for most of the album...
This is all right, has its moments, but I think it's a little dull at times. I'll spend more time with it to see if anything else starts to jump out but idk, just not feeling it as a whole. "Feel Love," "Come Back," and "Rid of It" are great though. "Come Back" especially reminds me of YAMS/Ixora era Copeland.
Album streaming on Consequence of Sound. Diving into my first listen now. Wish me luck! :) Stream: From Indian Lakes’ new album Everything Feels Better Now
John k Samson, personal space, American football, Kevin Devine, Male Bonding, crying leaked, Jeff leaked,
The vibe of this album really reminds me of Ixora. It's a little bigger, faster, and weirder. But overall, it gives me that same feel tonally without being too similar. That's a very very good thing.
The stream went down while I was listening and still isn't back up. Oh well, I was actually kind of enjoying it. "Come Back" was a definite highlight.
checked out a few tracks.. too much music to listen to but I liked what I heard and am going to come back to this next week for sure. added to my icloud music library.
Late to the conversation but Hellogoodbye is definitely hugely improved from their early days... their last two albums were both great.
lol I do this too, ill listen to one song and immediately declare the record incredible haha Btw- I def get some Copeland vibes from this
