Travis Barker DID play drums on this, what the what

 

So did Mark Hollis play bass too since he was in the one picture that posted?

 

The drums sound like shit, odd that it's Travis' doing.

this whole thing is weird... why would Travis play on this?

 

I will say, I did enjoy "Two As One", but that was only because it was on NHL09.

 

That and We All Turn Back to Dust were pretty solid.

 

i am a big fan of derek bloom, very sad that he didn't play on the song, and hope he becomes involved in the album

 

I'm still pretty split on this. On one hand it's really catchy and I like the melodies a lot.

Otherwise, the lyrics definitely make me cringe and the breakdown is a little underwhelming.

 

After listening to that podcast with Matt the lyrics make a lot more sense, considering they try to be satirical most of the time.

Not sure where it went. It was posted in one of these threads about the reunion. It was done before the reunion news broke but he goes in depth about their lyrics from when sonny was in the band.

I never listen to them but Heroine and Throne hold way up for me. Diary's also pretty fun. This is painful but I'm strangely excited.

 

Sonny and the band reunited last night at Emo Nite LA

 

they performed “Guillotine,” “Note to Self," "Make War", “Secrets Don’t Make Friends,” “Kiss Me I’m Contagious,” “Emily,” and “Ride the Wings.”

 

That's a much longer set than I thought they played. Pretty on par with a Warped set length wise.

Well this was stupidly cool. I really want them to do some festivals this year (Hint come play Reading).

 

Would definitely go see them if they toured, that was fun to watch

 

not bad, i'm glad to see them reunite, hope that sonny can get his voice back after some more practice, noticed they were playing a half step down and he was still struggling with a lot of those notes

 

Guessing Sonny isn't doing the screams anymore.

 

Really want them to tour with Sonny. Also, no Heroine songs from the emonite set i see.
