Nothing stopping him from playing 5-10 shows for fun over a two week break from Skrillex. He's obviously not going to stop performing as Skrillex to commit to FFTL full-time but this band is hardly active as-is. I bet there will be a string of shows in major markets that they know they will sell out and a self-released EP or LP to support the tour.

 

Horrible. Couldn't even finish it.

 

How ever many years later and I still think From First to Last sucks.

 

I'll still throw on Dear Diary... and Heroine from time to time and have fun with it. But yeah, not surprised this is bad

I'm a fan of it. FFTL has always had ridiculous lyrics, I never know how seriously to take that side of their music. Are they trying to pass these as serious or are they messing around? If the vocals would have sounded like this 10+ years ago, I would have enjoyed them more.

 

My hope is that none of it is taken seriously and they're just having fun?

There were also never quite this horrendously awful. Which is saying a lot.

 

Always liked Heroine a lot. Haven't listened to the new song yet but I think it's cool that they're all having fun making music together again.

 

Fuck i don't even know what to think of this... I loved dear diary but this just sounds like over produced garbage... wish they stuck with raw production... lyrics are rough too... I do enjoy the high vocals on it but that's literally the only thing.. definitely no Emily though

 

Yea it's a bit too rock radio sounding but I like some of the high parts. Sonny being back with them even for this is pretty crazy though, thought it was just gonna turn out to be rumors and nothing more.


Also I feel like I'm one of the only people on here to have enjoyed Dead Trees. I really like Spencer, and it helps I liked him from Periphery too.

I thought the song was pretty average but kind of fun in a novel way. I still like their first album, although it's not something I'll put on regularly.
