Ummmmm so I’ve been slacking hard on these singles because this new one slaps, I remember thinking the first single was good but I didn’t return to it for whatever reason. The album is out tonight so I’ll just wait and listen to all of it.

Hey. I really love this. Opener reminds me of Bright Eyes at their most chaotic, something like “Pull My Hair”, one of my favorite BE songs.

This is total Chorus.fm-core. Thread should be huge. Best debut of the year already?

It reminds me so much of Bright Eyes and Cursive and a very specific era of indie rock.

Yea it definitely at times sounds a lot like a Saddle Creek band and then sometimes just 100% unabashed indie rock. The electronic elements for sure remind me of Letting Off the Happiness.

This is sick, not a single weak song. I catch traces here and there that remind me of "The Dust of Retreat" by Margot & the Nuclear So and So's, also kinda a Chicago album.

Love this. And love that it’s 9 tracks/36 min.

This is scratching my 'Lifted' era Bright Eyes itch perfectly

This rules, and it rules harder how much it literally is this board’s taste on the nose. I didn’t really love either quiet song but everything else was awesome.

This is where I’m at, the ballads kind of take me out of it but everything else is really engaging.

  24. This is very good. Cool to find out they're a Chicago band too.

This level of Conor Oberst worship and overall earnestness should be offputting but somehow despite how hard it wears those influences it sounds really fresh. Get Numb to It! especially is going to get countless plays from me over the next few weeks, the whole second half payoff is perfect.
