Fantastic album imo. I like it a lot more than I liked the debut. The passion behind it is palpable.

This record scratches that '00s indie rock itch I never really wanted to scratch. This will be in rotation, for sure.

I really like this a lot.

 

Yeah this is really good, especially love the run from Certainty to the end. The title track rips.

 

I was kind of lukewarm on the first couple singles after how much I loved the debut, but on first listen this is a step up. Those songs work awesome in context. As a record it's clearly cut from the same cloth as the first, but more fully realized and stronger/more cohesive beginning to end. And I love how endearingly 2006 they are without ever really sounding dated.

 

Can’t turn this off. One of my favorites of the year so far, easily.

After several play throughs this weekend, this is probably favorite new release so far this year.

 

Glad to see the praise this album is getting over here....just finished my 2nd play through and this album grabs you from the start and doesn't let go...shades of early Arcade Fire

Probably the first album this year I’ve really loved

 

great record. "Guess" is suchhhhh a good opener

 

really trying to not wear this out too quick but it’s all i wanna listen to. “alice” back to back with “certainty” is just absurd.

 

'certainty' was the one that stuck out the most for me, love it

Pretty good. Think the vocals are a bit much sometimes but they have grown on me over the course of the album.

 

The vocals are way better here than the last one I think

 

This is very good but I do prefer the last one still.

 

Tossed on a Netflix movie Remarkably Bright Creatures and one of the characters is wearing a Friko shirt and was a big fan. So random lol

 

My mom is planning on watching that. Maybe she’ll start listening to Friko.
