Mastersystem is maybe the most foreboding album i know of. It’s an awesome record, but it is too clear of a look into his frame of mind at that stage of his life for me to listen to. I listened to it twice and, while i think it’s great, i can’t imagine listening to it and then going about daily life.
Old Team is one of Scott's best songs. 'Notes..' and 'Bird Is Bored...' are tough lyrically but I really loved the lyrical output on that album compared to the latter FRabbit stuff.
I have the original box set of 7"s - one of my favorite vinyl releases ever...tempted to get the crewneck but I'm scared of this: "ORDERS TO THE USA MIGHT BE SUBJECT TO CUSTOMS CHARGES"
Has anyone in here listened to Haiver? It's Bill Kennedy from FR and I guess he's put stuff out for a few years under the moniker but the new songs are quite pleasant and a nice extension of what FR sounded like.
