The mom and son stuff worked for the nacho scene alone. Cinema.

 

As a casual Tim Robinson fan, I loved this. Haven’t laughed that hard in a theatre in a long while.

The drug trip scene had me rolling.

 

Really excited for this, hoping I can see it in theaters.

 

You guys wanna go see that new Marvel? I heard it’s supposed to be NUTS.

 

It’s making people go crazy!

 

The entire Subway sequence had me dying

 

i don’t think i’ve ever laughed that hard at a movie. saw it with the boys and it was an all timer.

 

Fuck is this already out of wide release this coming weekend? I didn't have a chance to see it until then but I'm not seeing any times listed

 

It should still have times. Just a smaller movie so they probably won’t get announced at your theater til Tuesday or Wednesday.

 

Nope! Luckily some showings popped up in some local-ish places in Maine so didnt have to make the longer drive down to MA. Ended up going sunday afternoon. My wife and I were dying the whole movie. I had to hold back some big laughs since we were in an extremely chill/quiet crowd. Toad boy scene almost broke me though.

 

This turned out fine successfully avoided running into any sliding glass doors.

 

According to Box Office Pro, there are plans to expand it farther.

This was hilarious. I should have picked a non-weekend day matinee to see it. I was one of five people in there and possibly the only one laughing, which made me feel like Craig.

 

Both times I saw this, the other audience members were immediately on board so it was very fun. But a part of me is curious to experience it in a full normie crowd to see what hits and what doesn’t.

 

Saw this again tonight with a flask and man it rocked me. So much of the soundtrack is just legit so good. Stevie’s girlfriend eating the baked potato first thing in the morning and then thanking Craig for it really lit me up this go round. Really need A24 to release some overpriced OVD merch.

I scrolled down on A24’s shop and saw the Ochi tee. My 4 year old daughter saw the trailer for that legit like 8 months ago and was so traumatized and enamored by it. And every movie we’ve seen since last summer basically has required us to make a promise to our child that they will NOT show the Legend of Ochi trailer before the movie. And, until I just googled it now and realized it came out already in April, we made that promise having no idea if the trailer would or wouldn’t play. I feel so relieved to finally know it’s done and I can stop lying about my certainty with my kid.

 

Finally seeing this on Saturday!

 

“How was it???”

“….I went to subway…”

“what happened???”

“…..I ORDERED!”

 

This is the best comedy I’ve seen since Superbad. And it made me really depressed how I related to both so heavily at the respective times in my life haha. A movie that really understands being a middle aged family guy in the burbs.

also the best movie I’ve seen this year so far.

 

I keep thinking about random lines from this and then busting out laughing in public with no context for this behavior for the people around me.

Somehow, I think this would please the makers of this film.
