If I was an actor everyone would hate me because I'd be cliquey too. I have social anxiety so I do well with my core familiar people but having to meet and be around new people constantly, I'd def wanna stay in my comfort zone of familiarity. Every time I see press tours of actors who claim to be bff's while promoting their new project together, I just get stressed out imagining having to work with new people all the time. But that's why I'm not an actor, among other reasons such as lack of talent and connections and looks.
A bit convoluted of a joke and way too “inside joke” to work with folks who don’t know Friends that well but I still found it humorous. a very Caucasian coworker has started tanning or using fake tanner the last few weeks and today is our one day in the office together and our department now refers to her as “Sixteen” because as they put it, “this is like when Ross goes tanning and ends up getting sprayed twice - “I’m an 8!” - but in your case you’re a 16 with how dark you are right now”.
