I'm torn between that and "WHERE DID YOU HEAR IT FROM BEFORE?!" And also Chandler's reaction to the head slap gets me every time:
“Well that’s not even a real fish. No, that’s a goldfish cracker.” I laugh every single time I hear that line reading.
Adam Goldberg was one of the best guest stars on the show. I have no idea how that didn't land him more roles. Same with Giovanni Ribisi.
Giovanni Ribisi is in The Other Sister, which I could probably quote the entire movie. I absolutely love it and wish more people have seen. It’s amazing.
Google “joey friends” and click on the pizza slice emoji that pops up in the results. All the characters have one. Ross’ is wonderful.
this was definitely a very strange and now very dated storyline lol but im glad it wasn't as bad for her as you might think from the headline
In Monica's defense, when I was 21 (She was supposed to be 23 at the time I think right?) I drunkenly made out with an 18 year old who I thought was 21, but it was also because she was at a bar lol. I know someone when they were 19 at a college party made out with a 15 year old because she was there with girls from his floor and they told everyone she was a college freshman living in a different dorm. So at least Monica wasn't actively trying to rob the cradle. Ross (and Frank Jr's teacher) made the conscious decision to date someone much younger/former students. Definitely way weirder in the context of today when that seems way too common for comfortable jokes to be made.
Was she already 26 in the first season?! Holy shit. I thought she was younger than that. I just wanted to speak up in her defense because she wasn't trying to do that and did put things to an end when it came up. Ross and Frank Jr's teacher not so much hah. Also was he supposed to be 17? I thought they'd at least make him 18 so it wasn't so....rapey.
