Any Friendly Fires fans here? They're coming back!

Just released a clip of a new song and presale tickets for their show at O2 Academy Brixton go up tomorrow.

I can't tell if this is a one off thing, or if they're reuniting for an album.

On my first listen right now, and somehow it reminds me of Robyn's Honey so far? Not only because of the long gap, but because it seems less hook-y than its predecessors and more like the songs are focused on particular moods and meant to be played as a megamix... in Ibiza. Kiss And Rewind is already one of their best songs.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I feel like I could throw the entire album on at a party and no one would bat an eye. Very good album so far and I'm excited to dig in more.

 

Kiss and Rewind > Love Like Waves > Lack of Love is such a great run

 

Went into this having only listened to "Jump in the Pool" ages ago, and wow this is really good
