Huge Manchester Orchestra vibes on this one

listening to it now and don't really hear that. They played this live last time I saw them (I think it was the Somos tour). Definitely better than the slower stuff on Those Days

I guess I hear it more in the inflection of the vocals and how the song starts real slow and quiet and builds to something really loud and intense a lot like a lot of early Manchester stuff

fair point; the vocal inflection was actually the one thing that I thought did sound like MO haha

yea I need to talk about this album in this thread, not being received as well in the emo thread.

    Things I like

Blend of Emo, pop punk, and brand new influenced alt rock. Real nice guitar and drum work

    Things I don't like
Vocals get a little grating in the upper register.

This sounds right up my alley, I'm going to have to check it out. I know I've listened to them before, but can't remember what they sound like, or if I enjoyed it.

Never been able to get into free throw before (nothing really stood out) but damn this album is really great. There seems a lot more variety to the dynamic of each song
