I love Ryan Reynolds and this movie looks fun. I will be checking it out for sure. If I don't like it, then nbd.

 

I'm not going to let other people's entertainment preferences dictate what I can and cannot enjoy . Now, if it's an accountability issue, that's a completely different story.

It is such a cynical movie. Not of religion, or capitalism, or government, or war, but cynical of its audience. It thinks people are too stupid to see what they are doing, pressing cultural buttons for you to clap like a seal. However, based on its box office and a sequel announcement, they were right.

 

i would say capitalism is one of the few things this movie is not cynical of. it is openly embracing it.
