didn't really like this album when i first heard it but i saw her live and listened again and it clicked
this was top 5 of the year for me when it came out but now i dont think i've listened to it for over a month :\
went from thinking this album is barely okay to unable to stop myself from singing songs to myself quietly in public places
Playing it for the first time in almost 2 months rn and I think this is going to play even better with me now that's it's warm. Still maintain that Fit Me In is her best work.
I fucking love this record. She really manages to make mini-songs sound so fleshed out and realized. Also, the harmonies in the chorus of "On the Lips" couldn't be any more Cranberries and I won't ever be mad about it
i should relisten to this: never drew me in when it came out and i've never been a huge fan of hers but it at least deserves another shot
It's a fantastic record. My favorite I've heard from her with the exception of Young off the last EP.
actually sort of surprised i haven't seen this in like a single publication end of year list: forgot it came out until this thread was bumped, haha
Sappho and Embody showed up on TMT and Stereogum best tracks lists too. Feel like the album was on the p4K rock list too maybe??
eh there are some circumstances that make me enjoy the band less than i probably should, but nothing they've done has drawn me in enough to look past it i also haven't seen them live which could help
Frankie Cosmos And Warehouse Members Form New Band Lexie Greta has a new band. Warehouse is a good band
Thought maybe by chance there was a new album announced when thread was bumped. I'll take a new Greta fronted band though.
She says it's 70% done though! So likely this year, especially considering her prolific release schedule
