ughhhh I love you and am glad you made it over but the whole album title - artist title thing KILLS me
this album is so so beautiful.
@cwhit haha I just noticed that every one else is doing the opposite of me
honestly only the worst kind of people do that so I'm going to brush it off as a mistake this time!!!
you can edit thread titles here too, please fix my anxiety
I can't even edit it.
edit: actually got it
On a better note, I'm going to the record release tonight. Should be fun!
Record release party at my place, attendance of 1, me, curled up on couch, sobbing "it's just so beautiful, I can't"
This is hands down better than the last
first few listens didn't do much for me but the other day this album hit me. I then listened to it 5 times in a row, preordered it, and purchased tickets to see her on Monday
Greta April Fool'd everyone by playing a song for Eskimeaux pretending to be Gabby. Watch out for her tricks, chorus.fmers. She's the one with short hair.
I am going to need to listen to this ASAP, I think
And then Gabby came out for the first Frankie song and pretended to be Greta. Fool me once...
I love Gabby so much, she did a solo show and said that she was Simon and these people behind her that mimicked every move she did were her "says", haha
Ha, I've actually never seen her perform solo feel that would be such a cool experience.
I think you discussed not really enjoying Frankie Cosmos' live, I think the band sounded a lot tighter playing this album.
I too think this is better than her last, which was also good.
Love both bands, but I would absolutely be susceptible to a trick like this. Clever.
Anyway. I haven't listened yet, but I hope it's better than the EP. That release didn't quite do it for me like Zentropy did.
I've been listening to this so much more than her last album. Seriously every song on this album has at least one melody which I find addictively catchy.
this is in my top 5 for this year. really good
It's amazing to me that none of these songs felt short. Not that that would've been a bad thing, but I thought it was cool that that never stuck out
i think the birthday song is my fav song by her and its like barely over a minute
Frankie Cosmos: Pop Miniaturist | Pitchfork
This is great
saw her last night at a sold out show in Richmond. really enjoyable.
planning to catch her, yowler and eskimeaux later this month. pretty excited about that
