we have some smaller theaters that usually get shit like this (I got to see highest to lowest) but nothing for this:(
Looked amazing, Elordi was fantastic (Oscar Issac was baaaaaaad) but man this just bounced right off me. I could not get into it at all.
We are currently in the middle of reading Frankenstein and I offered extra credit to anyone who went and saw the movie. Only one student took me up on it.
get why others are loving it but this was really hit or miss with me. wouldn't mind watching again at some point, but it feels like yet another example of a noteworthy director making one of their worst films on netflix due to netflix not letting them limit themselves
i dunno, i loved his pinocchio movie, and people seem to be pretty high on crimson peak after a certain number of years. i’ll concede that TSOW and nightmare alley are far from his best moments
Yeah I was gonna say he’s been super inconsistent but I actually did like Nightmare Alley and I’m not gonna lie I forgot that was him.
It was very silly watching The Creature looking like he was in The Crow roaring and chucking dudes around. Wish they came up with a more interesting look for him. Didn't love it. Agreed, Oscar Isaac sucked. Thought Mia Goth was pretty bad too, don't have any strong feelings about Elordi.
