I wish I was in Boston. Frank and Bouncing Souls would be amazing. Will be at Philly tho Murder by Death should be cool.

Man, I wish John Samson was playing at more shows. It'd be so cool to see him and Frank together

  7. Awesome tour. Of course I wish John K. Samson was playing the Chicago shows, but Masked Intruder and Arkells is a solid lineup too.

  8. Gonna try and make the trip down to Chicago with some friends!

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Might end up at the Montreal date but I'll see how the rest on my concert schedule around then shapes up.

A little creeped out about the late january timing with snowstorm season and driving a long distance though. Hmmm

thinking about planning a frank turner weekend with beacon theater and agganis arena. would be swell considering this might be/probably will be his last run of US shows before hunkering down for LP7.

If you haven't checked out Arkells - highly recommend them. Their new album is great and they put on a really solid live show. Think you'll enjoy them as an opener.

All about the Chicago date. Have only seen Frank solo so far.

Thinking about taking a road trip to the Boston date. Frank and Bouncing Souls together seems to good to pass up.

Really stoked about the Boston date! I'm not entirely shocked he's playing such a large venue here... Curious to see if he can sell it out. Amazing that I finally get to see him with the Bouncing Souls too!

On the lookout for the Brooklyn Vegan presale code...

    EDIT: It's BRAVEFACE

Just got a third row ticket to the NYC show, super pumped. But now I'm wondering how the wall of hugs will happen in a seated venue.

Arkells are great, but that being said... I don't enjoy Morning Report at all.

Michigan Left is probably my favourite release of theirs followed by the debut and then High Noon. I know they embraced the pop sound for this latest one but it really does nothing for me. I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts about it because I'd be happy to give it a re-listen with that in mind.

A friend of mine was at the Arkells/Frank Turner show in Toronto last night and said it was a ton of fun, Frank came out and sang along to some Springsteen during the Arkells set. I think I'll try to hit up the Calgary date.

I didn't discover them until last year during the High Noon album cycle so I'm a little bias towards that. I dig their pop-song over the earlier stuff but IMO High Noon is top-notch. So many good songs.

Being that Morning Report the first release while I was a fan I had high hopes. Didn't dig it at all at first and kinda gave up on it. Then I saw this video house party concert video :

    and this WayHome clip

The live versions got me back into it and now I really dig it. Drake's and Private School are fun, but the real winners IMO are Round & Round, A Little Rain, My Heart. Certainly think they come off better live(based on those videos and from what some friends have said having seen them recently). Seems like for the Canada show they are bringing out a horn section which is awesome.

Went to the Halloween show in Wilmington, DE. Gotta say, think it's my favorite Frank show I've been to yet.

1st Chicago show is sold out. Was originally set on going before i bought tix to 2 Tomorrow Never Sleeps fest shows the previous week. A trip down to HOB on a weekday is gonna be way too expensive.
