Thought I'd make it's own thread. Will update with album title when he announces. 1933 released tomorrow. It's on spotify already in the UK. There She Is previously released. Tracklist posted as: Don't Worry 1933 Little Changes Be More Kind Make America Great Again Going Nowhere Brave Face There She Is The Twenty-First Century Survival Blues Blackout Common Ground The Lifeboat Get It Right Intrigued to see where he's went with this. Out: 4 May 2018
anticipating a march/april release, with pre-orders happening within the next week or so. very excited to have new frank. i hope its less on the political side than i am assuming currently.
the album is up on iTunes in the U.K. with the album title as 'Be More Kind' but the artwork just says 'Blackout'
I recall watching a live performance months on months ago and he said he thought the album was going to be called Be More Kind. As I said in the other thread, I believe he’s gonna use the racism and misogyny from the political climate as a point of reference to be a better person to the people around you. It won’t be just an hour of hating Trump but more of a reflection on how we as people can be better despite Trump and company.
Expected 4 May 2018 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Be-More-Ki...036&sr=8-2&keywords=frank+turner+be+more+kind
Hyped. Frank hasn't put a foot wrong. He has been talking about this being his "half electronic" album, and that makes me nervous but I'll of course give it a go.

Dominating this thread... Good interview with him here: Frank Turner interview: his new album, festival and why the UK government are "crap" Album is named after a Clive James quote. Frank did talk about this at Glasgow so it makes sense now.
Interesting interview. I'm hyped the record, and I'll listen to the song after work. I can't imagine it being a let down.
Really cool article, and I'm always on board to try anything he puts out. He's one of the artists I trust in that respect. I'm excited for this!
I remember having a big chat with him about The Postal Service a few years back and he does seem to know about such a wide range of genres. I have full faith.
Like the album cover, I'm absolutely desperate for him to try something / anything that's a bit different, so an electronic-y album is potentially interesting.
