how much better are we talking? i have the BF pressing and have loved how it sounds, but if the new pressing is better, i might have to grab it at some point if it's an essential upgrade

 

hard to really qualify this tbh, partly bc it’s so subjective in the first place but also bc I can only go by memory, but I remember thinking the BF one sounded good but not like anything special per se, but the re-press brought tears to my eyes it was so great. like so easily the best the record ever sounded to me, take that for whatever you think it’s worth ha. keep in mind this is years between listens of each here and plenty of variables (different listening environment, similar but slightly different setup, etc.). the packaging is the much more obvious upgrade to me.

 

I don’t buy vinyl really anymore but I’d love to have this. $65+ is too much though.

 

65 is a lot for a record but I figure aftermarket prices would be insane so fuck it. I do see bootlegs floating around but I always assume they’re shite quality
