I certainly can’t afford it but that’s a good deal if you care about more than one artist. If you dropped that money just to see Frank in the first place I’m sorry but that’s what you get lol
also 600 is a number that doesn’t include travel lodging and food lol Coachella is way out of the price range of most people making it an exclusionary experience, it is what it is don’t expect me to feel bad when one artist isn’t perfect or drops
I don't know why I'm continuing this convo but I went to coachella 11 times and slept in a tent every time for like $10 and brought my own food for the campsite and like, one meal a day inside the fest. Anyway, it's what you make it, you don't need it to be an expensive experience if you don't want to
For real. Coachella’s ticket price is not that crazy comparably. If you start saying stuff like “well if you can afford $600 then fuck you” is a slippery slope. You could basically just say “I don’t feel bad for anyone that pays for anything and gets cancelled ever” and it’s the same thing really.
The most exclusionary part of Coachella for me is the culture that’s often associated with it. It’s not so exorbitant that normal people can’t stretch to afford it, like for example first class air travel or something along those lines. If you can afford to go to a music festival, you can probably afford Coachella. You just have to really want to go and it mean a lot to you. If you’re not that fussed on it then no, you’re not randomly forking out that kind of money.
Plunking down hundreds of dollars to see a notoriously flaky artist should be approached like going to the casino and playing blackjack
I was in the crowd the day Frank fans booed drake off the stage at camp flog gnaw for not being Frank.(I didn’t boo drake I was hyped for that set) I will now be in the crowd for the Frank cancelled performance for Coachella. THATS PEAK LIFE.
I’m going this weekend, and it wasn’t just for Frank but I’m still disappointed. I never thought it would be this bad.
Just sucks because again I had no idea Frank was notorious for this previously. My whole image of him is different
Ok fine, if you actually care, it's usually granola bar/breakfast bars in the morning then making a sandwich for lunch, plus snacks of course
