This about sums it up: Frank and Napster? • /r/FrankOcean Basically Frank has been wearing Napster t-shirts for some reason over the course of the last couple years. To be seen so rarely as of late, but whenever he is, he's wearing that shirt, makes you think he's doing it for a reason - like he's trying to tell everyone something. Besides, when Rhapsody rebrands itself to Napster, nobody is going to care unless they have an draw - they have to bring people in with some sort of exclusive or else why would anyone bother switching? What better than to be the only place with Frank Ocean's new record? Seems plausible. Why would anybody wear a Napster t-shirt that much?
Frank Ocean New frank post. Also someone on the frank Reddit is claiming.. When they hosted a frank snippet (the ones that leaked in february) it was taken down with a notice that said "We've received a report directly from Universal Music Group that your track "Frank Ocean - Life Would Feel 1995 (Remastered)" contains "life would feel like 1995" by frank ocean. As a result, your track has been removed from your profile for the time being." Which may mean the release was turned in?
It absolutely is. As most things this man does are. (Except for not releasing albums when he says he's going to and then leaving everyone in the dark as to why.) But I digress.
on that site, you can sign up for his email list and there's an odd bit underneath that; it asks "What's moving faster, the tea or the cup?" i'm not exactly sure what to write there. is that a reference to something i'm missing? (alice in wonderland i assumed?)
It's been like that since he launched the site, IIRC you can write anything and you'll be signed up for the list.
I just think it's odd to announce a release on a random Sunday in November this far ahead, while essentially hinting that it's actually this month. I do agree that the 2nd half of the year isn't as stacked with releases though.
