Frank Ocean is like the artist equivalent of the dad from the beginning of Angels in the Outfield. And hoping for a new album from him is like having hope the family stays together if the angels win the pennant
I’m actually hoping I don’t get mine for a while lol, I stupidly ordered mine forgetting that I’m gonna be on vacation from Christmas through New Years
Did anyone here buy an extra copy to flip? If so, help a digital neighbor out first before selling to a total stranger
I haven't even gotten a shipping notification and other people have already got it ? Anyone else in the same boat?
Yeah I haven’t got one either and I checked around and people from the second re-stock of the day already got shipping notifications.
With the Coachella rumors, has anyone ever seen Frank do a headlining set in a festival setting? I reallyyyyy want to go if he’s on the lineup but I’m not sure if the vibe will translate in a crowd that large. I’ve only ever seen Frank once before and that was at Bonnaroo 2014, legit one of the worst sets I’ve ever seen. It was just him, a stool, and a boom box on stage, it was incredibly boring and he lost the crowd about 20mins in.
I have several friends who saw his festival sets around Blonde era, they all loved it. I still haven’t seen him personally though.
Yeah, still haven’t gotten one either. Personally hoping I don’t til I’m back home for New Years Eve lol
I saw him headline Panorama on Randall's Island in 2017 and it was incredible. The stage presence was very bare bones but he had a camera IIRC and the screens were mirroring everything on stage. He sounded fantastic. Solange went on before him and she may have upstaged him though, that performance was really something else.
