so since blond(e), his solo singles have been.... Biking (Solo and non), DHL, Dear April (2 versions, neither a "standard" version), Cayendo (2 versions, neither a "standard" version), In My Room (plus a remix) and that's all... right? I'm taking Frank songs, not features. So basically 5 songs in 6 years?
nice. Turns out I was arranging shit the wrong way and missed those. So 8 originals with versions, and one cover, since blond

Was really hoping we'd get a new vinyl release for the anniversary but I should have expected less from Frank
Being real I think we were supposed to get a record in 2020/2021. The art on DHL and In My Room indicated on the bottom right they were parts of a body of work. Wonder if we’ll ever hear those other songs or if they’re scrapped. I respect Frank for taking a break after Ryan’s passing/prioritizing family and mental health but can’t for the love of me understand why he resurfaces the way he does (releasing a new blonded radio after years of silence) teasing new work and not delivering
Yeah I think it’s obvious he was going to drop an album right before Coachella 2020. He’s apparently still on the lineup for 2023, so we might get something then.
But it is work. A radio program, a clothing brand to match, a luxury brand, he's (constantly) recording, writing a movie and book.... He's always working on stuff. So what if he doesn't release a record every 3, or even 6, years? Personally, I find it really refreshing that he takes his time, has other interests, and (privately) pushes himself to do new things. All while traveling, spending time with friends, etc. Sounds really healthy to me... and beneficial for making the kind of timeless work he's known to produce.
Yeah I think it’s awesome that he is doing his own thing, artists are under no obligation to fans to put out music. However I do think it’s incredibly whack that he tries selling T-shirts for $80 lol
I agree with all those things. I also don’t really care whether he releases an album every 2 years or every 20 years. My problem is his teasing? (He has to know if he does a blonded radio randomly years away from a previous release. People are going to expect new music?). My point is he has to know what he’s doing and that it’s annoying
