I would assume similar if not slightly bigger than the venues chance has been playing, but they would sell out fast like Chance's shows (4-8k cap rooms / theaters)

 

I think you're underestimating Franks draw. Three years ago he was the night one headliner at OVO and his cult has only grown since.

 

I think there's just an awkward gap between venue sizes and he's somewhere in between. I think he could play arenas and what not, but I'm not sure that's the type of tour frank would go out on. I think festivals and quick sell out 6-10k shows are probably what we will see. I do agree he's popular enough to play basketball arenas and venues like that though.

 

Basically expecting him to headline a day of Gov Ball.

Looks like people are starting to get cancellation emails for vinyl purchases. I haven't got one yet, but all of a sudden I'm not so sure I'll be getting one.

Did they give a reason for the cancellation?

 

Unless he went the Sufjan-Carrie & Lowell route and redid all of his songs for the tour, then him doing a huge arena tour for this album wouldn't really feel right

 

Looks like some people got shipping confirmation too, regardless of wether it said December or January when they ordered (I've seen both on forums)

I haven't received a cancellation or a shipping confirmation but I really hope they don't cancel my order, it was definitely placed on Thursday night still.

 

Someone got this for me as an early Birthday present, really hoping that it doesn't get cancelled haha.

I could see Frank playing theaters like Kendrick did on that intimate TPAB tour. I saw him at the Lincoln Theatre in DC, which is where I usually see comedians, not music

 

I feel like Frank is one of those artists that will just do festivals from now on because of how big he is. Hope I'm wrong cause Ohio kinda sucks in that regard.

 

Girlfriend got me the LP for Christmas and I can't wait, hoping he does a couple of dates around his UK festival appearance as I'm at another festival that weekend though.

 

I was about to start putting together my 2016 list and realize I hadn't heard this yet.

Pretty damn incredible. Ivy and Self Control are my favorites on first listen.

 

Update on vinyl cancellation: even though some people have reported getting their orders cancelled I don't think anyone has posted solid proof of it. The most concrete information on it is just a couple of posts on vinyl collective unless I missed some info. Assuming nobody in this thread got a cancellation we may be able to rest and know that it as a false rumor. Unfortunately that may also be true for orders already shipping
