This album is unreal.

 

Put it on two weeks back, and it has grown on me so much. It's sequenced beautifully.

 

it's better than channel orange.

 

I always loved Channel Orange but Endless and Blonde catapulted him to one of my favorite artists period

 

I enjoyed them when the album came out, but I'm still obsessed with Nights and Self Control.

 

I thought the end of Self Control was the best part of this album but it's actually the end of White Ferrari.

 

End of Nights for me.

 

channel orange was my aoty of the year 2012, this will be my aoty 2016.. think i prefer blonde now. not sure how to take endless though

 

Channel Orange never stuck with me like it did others

But Blonde is pretty clearly my AOTY right now for whatever that's worth

 

I never really gave Endless enough of a fair shake

 

This album is still so incredible.

 

Pretty Sweet is underrated

 

I listened to Endless once-- was bored as hell. Is it worth another try?

I wonder why he didn't want them to be considered

 

bc fuck the grammys

 

because the grammys are an awful institution and its an awful award that has no real meaning. its almost an elite class that finds meaning in any of it. its the antithesis of the kind of independence and artistic expression frank stands for.

 

This is why it's so weird to see Chance campaigning so hard for one

 

Chance is for other reasons though

 

Chance wants to win to encourage other artists to stay independent in a way, but yeah, Grammy's are worthless.
