Frank isn't a troll, he ain't made no promises. i'd be interested to know who was that source that said it would be coming out Aug 5th (or whenever that was). THAT's what got so many people's hopes up

 

After the #july2015 #albumthree tumblr post he had to know in posting the library card this year everyone would interpret it as we're getting an album before the end of July. Then having that build up of every day for a week of live streaming and then just disappearing. Dude is like cyber waterboarding his fan base

 

I don't think that anyone upset with this album rollout is necessarily "entitled." but calling an artist a "heartless troll" is definitely overboard. Especially since we have no info about the reason for its delay beyond speculation.

Why do people stress about a brand new record?

Because they are fans and are excited for new work from artists they like.

It's a dumb question, I'm certainly not stressing, just anticipating new work from an artist I truely enjoy.

Fandom is hardly a rational thing either.

 

Like that you referenced brand new. These cryptic lead ins to releases always remind me of Lost. Where rather than ever getting answers, every episode just produced more questions/speculation
