This album is really good, he totally honed in on his craft from the last two EPs, this is going to get a lot of play from me

Sad to say this didn't do much for me outside of "Friends." It mostly just made me want to listen to It'll Be Better instead.

gave it a shot due to the people involved...couldn't get through it. felt like bon iver lite without any of the ambition, just really cheesy and bland. some of the production is cool (thank cashmere cat for that) but yeah, don't like this at all

I don't really think it sounds like Bon Iver outside of the similar vocals.

I like a good deal of it but wish the rest reached the highs of See Her Out and Friends, definitely gonna listen more before I decide what I think of it

Agreed, even the vocals aren't like a carbon copy, just his falsetto is similar.

If anything, Francis sounds like Phil Collins

the words "sounds like bon iver" well never said: felt like is much more broad a statement

Calling someone "Bon Iver lite" is saying exactly that.

hey, i'm allowed to have my own opinions of what artists remind me of. when listening to this record he was the closest point of reference

When I heard Friends for the first time and saw the Justin feature on the video I thought it was him singing the whole time, Casey is hardly off base here

You absolutely are allowed. I'm also allowed to think they're bizarrely off-base...?
