I was genuinely confused the first time I saw the Friends video because I thought it was Bon Iver singing the whole time and I didn't know who this dancing dude was. Then the song was in my head for a week. I don't think I like it, but that catchiness something.

Yeah his live show is what really won me over. I was surprised to find out that he's been doing his thing for so long considering i hadn't heard of him until Coloring Book.

It'll Be Better is probably my favorite discovery of the year. That EP is perfect. I'm very, very excited for a new album from him, although I'm a little sad to discover "Friends" is the closer, since I try to never listen to an album closer before the album comes out. Oh well. Still an awesome song.

Both new songs are phenomenal... not as big a fan of his old stuff but it's still solid.

Still jam "Tap the Phone" a lot. I think I discovered that through one of your summer mixes a few years back.

Oh you most likely did. I beat that drum a lot, not that it made much of a dent. Glad it got you into him at least though, sir.

I had assumed he wasn't active anymore after that EP. I was pleasantly surprised to see his name start popping up places earlier this year. Intrigued to see what this will sound like.

He did have that follow-up EP that went under the rader. Like a Dream. It was pretty good but got NO push.

I like it a lot. Some of the middle tracks are my favorites after first listen (could be partially due to how much I've played "Friends" and "See Her Out"). But yeah my initial faves were probably "May I Have This Dance", "My City's Gone", and "It's Alright To Cry". Will definitely be spinning it a lot (until Danny Brown and Bon Iver come out in six days...).

Hope it's on Spotify soon. He said after it was mastered it'd be uploaded to streaming services so I'm guessing by the end of the weekend.
