Goddamn, Marathon too.

 

dope, i like songs called marathon

 

this definitely sounds...beefier than loom.

 

a handful of listens and im pretty meh on it :\ hope it grows on me

 

i haven't listened to it since streaming it last week. i've been waiting on my preorder to come in/to get my dig download, which i was hoping Deathwish would send out early since they streamed it a week early but alas :/

 

Good God is this good.

The last half just rips right after that interlude.

 

That was the first song that jumped out for me.

 

there really is nothing here that i find myself going back to. one of the biggest disappointments of the year for me unfortunately :(

Don't love this, but the closer is fantastic.

 

really love so many songs on here. it's a great album, but what's keeping it from being truly excellent/me loving it unconditionally is the fact that i don't love any song from Smother as much as i liked the ep Time Spent. like, those two songs hit so much harder than anything on Smother, it's insane.

 

Good album.
