I can see her being a guidance to Cyclops when he goes off the rails over Jean. The person who makes him realize that Jean is a true danger to the group.
Avengers Vs. X-Men Movie Poster Is The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of Looking at that poster, it def wouldn't even be fair fight like the comic event. They have used the X-men characters pretty poorly compared the comics, they'd be massacred by the MCU lol.
Yeah probably should have looked at it first lol. I've always wanted Night of the Sentinels to become a live action movie. Somebody make it happen
Doom is the best. I hope this is true. Hawley could make a fantastic standalone Doom film, which maybe could also serve as a back door pilot of sorts for a new Fantastic Four film.
The last Marvel film Fox released was great (Logan), and Noah Hawley has recently done great Fox Marvel work with Legion. Hawley developing a film centered on Doom can only be a good thing. You mean Channing Tatum? lol. And, Tatum confirmed recently that his Gambit film is still in development. I personally think he'll make a great Gambit and am glad they keep pushing it back instead of throwing something together.
What would be the purpose of a Doom film, though? I don't see Fox making him fight another villain. How would you be able to write the end of the film?
I think you're looking at this all wrong. What matters most isn't a good third act with a good villain; it's a good story with good characters and/or themes. Sure, a good villain and ending can and should enhance the rest, but you shouldn't start there and work backwards. In 616 continuity, Doom became ruler of Latveria by overthrowing someone who I think later fought back. In Doom 2099, he fights with a different Latverian ruler. Whether they use an obscure character like that or invent a new character to serve that kinda role, I think that kinda Marvel-y GoT-y story could be cool. Though, we still know nothing about this project except that it features Doom. It could be something fundamentally different from this. There's a lot you can do with Doom.
Channing Tatum says that Gambit is back to square one. Sounding like they are throwing out any work they've put in.
A Channing Tatum Gambit film would still be better than a lot of current franchises and ones in development right now. So weird that people would view it as a bad thing, especially when they love Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool; Tatum as Gambit is a very similar passion project, albeit one for a character with much less of a built in fanbase. Throwing out what they have sounds smart with how much things have shifted behind the scenes. Best to ditch all prior work and have Tatum take his time finding the right filmmaker to develop the story from scratch.
