Fox's Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie

According to him, Maisie Williams will be joining her Game of Thrones castmate Sophie Turner in the X-Universe as Rahne Sinclair, AKA shape-shifting werewolf girlWolfsbane; and The Witch breakout star Anya Taylor-Joy will be portraying Illyna Rasputin, AKA demon sorceress Magik. Plus, it sounds like Alexandra Shipp will be making the jump from the main X-Men roster as Storm.

Other characters said to be included, but not yet cast, are Cannonball, Sunspot, and Mirage - who actually make up the original Marvel Comics roster along with Karma. James McAvoy’s Professor X will also play significant part in the story apparently.

 

Fox is denying there is truth to it, but a man can hope.

 

Any rumor that doesn't involve Karma is a massive disappointment to me. Plus, young Storm long term is super weird.

New Mutants is still the upcoming Fox Marvel film that interests me most, though, with Gambit at a close second. Also have unjustified high hopes for Wolverine in spite of hating so much about The Wolverine.

Pretty excited about Legion.

YES YES YES PLEASE.

If they're really doing an Old Man Logan-esque story, I'd like a Laura Wolverine in a role like the Spider-Girl character, whatever her name was, in the original story. Though, I'd also REALLY like to see Laura join the X-Men films.

I have to think the Wolverine we get in X-M:A is not Hugh. Maybe they are teasing Daken? For Singer to be saying what he is, there has to be a twist.

 

I'm pretty sure Hugh Jackman essentially confirmed that's him, BUT I could see this sequence hinting at an X-23 clone. Though I could just be needlessly hopeful, lol.

 

What direction do you think they go with X-23, casting-wise? We have a pretty good idea that it could happen, I just don't see who they could put in those shoes.

 

Depends on how old they want to go and how much they want to use the character. If we could go back in time 10-15 years, Summer Glau would have been perfect, but I don't think Laura should start out in her mid 30s.

It'd probably be best to snatch up some 18-21-yr-old unknown who can pull off action and sign her to a lengthy contract.

 

Lindsey Morgan from the 100 would probably be ideal for me.
