His falsetto is SO GOOD GODDAMN like it's one thing to be that good on record but it's so good live too jesus
I do not disagree, that's for sure. I definitely think he's one of the most expressive, which is, I think, hard to do when you're also like "traditionally" good. Him and Julien Baker come to mind for pulling both off well
I think I've seen this band four times this year as of last night, and it's so crazy how they literally get better as a live act every time. Every time I see them is my favorite time seeing them. At one point, Conor came into the crowd during Bit By a Dead Bee pt 1 and it was beautiful and chaotic. And it helps the fans get into it without being dicks and involving anyone in the physical stuff who doesn't wanna be involved, crowd surfing aside
Don't remember the exact songs, but it was split pretty evenly between Dealer and Albatross iirc. And basically the songs you would expect were on the setlist -- Rory, The Medic (the closer and opener respectively), Bit By a Dead Bee Pt 1, Night Channels, Glass Coughs, The Magdalene... hope that helps somewhat
cant wait for the hometown show in december. theyre playing a brand new venue that i havent been to yet
Yea I guess that is kind of important haha that was my album of the year last year but I haven't been coming back to it enough
definitely kidding, probably maybe possibly my favorite album from 2015? top 3 for sure. a big step up from their already pretty good debut.
This album has still been in constant rotation for me this year. Easily one of my favorites of all time at this point.
