I wish I did. Maybe weave and Indica, actually. Those songs are great. The rest of it is meh for me

 

dealer still never hit me the way i thought and hoped it would

 

Dealer is great, I like it when you sleep is greatest.

 

I prefer iliwys by a good margin but Dealer is still super great.

 

I honestly don't know if I would be able to decide between those two albums haha. Absolutely love both. Can't believe someone actually has the opinion that anything beyond the first two songs of Dealer is just "white noise". Have a hard time imagining that person has actually ever listened to the album.

 

The 1975, in general, kind of suck, and that new album is a train wreck.

 

Not at all, but glad to hear your input without any actual substance.

 

I love both records. I think I'd have to choose Dealer though, only because it has been with me longer and has impacted me for more time. It was a tough choice tho and I truly think both are the apex of both bands' work (and I think that both bands have so much more to provide and grow)

 

This thread took a weird turn

New 1975 album is fantastic. "Tryhard" is a stupid term, obviously I want an artist to try hard and work at full capacity no matter how that's perceived by outside sources. Just weird to get hostile and condescending by insinuating that someone doesn't understand what those words mean.

I mean, if you want a real example of a tryhard, it's going into random threads and trashing a popular album that a lot of people enjoy for literally no reason.

This is still a really good album btw

On that note. Foxing is good band. Foxing is good music.

 

It's okay, people take shots at Brand New in the most random of threads too (myself included, even though I don't intend to. It's weird)

Kinda hoping fall comes faster so I can start listening to Dealer nonstop again

 

i couldnt wait and started busting it out a few weeks ago. its pretty much always fitting to listen to around here though and especially for me, the album was written by 20 somethings living in st louis soooooo id say im their exact target.

 

I've listened to it a bunch during the evening/night this summer, still great

 

its good for summer nights.

 

I listened to it for the first time in months on my drive home from Detroit the other night and yeah, I also can't wait to play on the regular once it cools down a little bit. Not that I can't bust it out at night anyways.

 

I listen to songs from either Dealer or The Albatross at least everyday, but I am also in the key demographic of being in my twenties and living in STL
