I really like Foxing but whenever I watch them live I'm always distracted by how much I love Conor's glasses

 

They apparently played three new songs last night. Anyone happen to be there?

Do we think a new record could be coming towards the middle/end of this year? It feels early since Dealer isn't even two years old yet but I don't know, if they're playing multiple new songs that is a good sign.

 

Idk they haven't recorded yet but it's possible

 

I'm not expecting anything, but I think it's reasonable that they could get something out late this year/early next year.

 

they played new songs on the hotelier/prawn tour back a year or so before dealer came out

 

they're def writing and recording this year

 

Eric said on twitter that the new album is unlike Dealer and the Albatross. "The heavy stuff is heavier and the electronic stuff is more vibey" is along the lines of what he said

 

That sounds cool

 

If this comes out the way I'm hearing it in my head I think this could be what makes them a top tier band for me

Bummed I missed that video. This might be my most anticipated release of the year though, assuming it does appear in 2017

 

That sentence just got me incredibly hyped.

 

I recall they posted a long message on facebook, and probably stated a new record might be out in 2018. I'm excited to hear at least anything new, even live or whatever.

 

I could see them bumping it up, if they're as far along in the process as they seem to be

 

I mean, they very well could not have even recorded the album yet and may not even be finished writing it. 2018 seems more realistic, but a late 2017 release, say October or November, seems possible

 

Keep in mind we still haven't even seen the release of Smidley. I thought I read somewhere that Conor planned on releasing it this month, but I haven't heard anything about it in a while other than the video shoot he did a week or so ago. That may not even interfere with Foxing stuff though, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Smidley is almost definitely already done so I don't think it'll interfere
