It’s crazy to me that this is in the main theatre of mr smalls, not the funhouse. Is now, now pretty big? I’ve never listened to them.
they're about the same size as Foxing these days i'd say. i wouldn't expect this tour to sell out a lot of places
Grand Paradise might be the best song I’ve ever heard. I can’t say for certain yet if it has the staying power over the next decade as many of my current favorites have, but man. I. Love. That. Song. So. Freaking. Much.
I still am surprised by how much I like this album but a few tracks are still lost on me. Grand Paradise, Slapstick, Nearer My God, Bastardizer, Trapped In Dillard’s, all phenomenal tracks Gameshark is too busy for my ears, and Five Cups really loses my attention. I find Crown Candy really annoying
I don’t like crown candy much but gameshark has grown on me like few other songs I’ve ever heard. It’s such a massive song
It’s great in like a random Mars Volta kinda way, it’s just such an outlier and my brain doesn’t enjoy the transition But there are enjoyable aspects to it anyways
I still don’t look forward to listening to game shark, which continues to grow on me, or crown candy but the rest have only gotten even stronger with time.
When i talked to Connor last time they were in Lawrence he said they'd be hitting diffrent spots this tour. They usually make a big deal out of the STL shows so it might just not be part of the tour.
That’s what I was worried about I’m not super bummed about missing Foxing but I don’t have the money to make the Now, Now show Friday so I was hoping I’d see them on this tour. Oh well, I’m sure they’ll be back around here at some point.
